Position Purpose:

Under the general supervision of the Director of Student Services, to facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills by implementing an instructional program that meets the needs of Deaf or hearing imparied students. Itinerant Deaf education teachers document student progress/activities/outcomes, address specific educational needs of individual students, creating a flexible, safe and optimal learning environment, and provide feedback to students, parents, and administration regarding student progress, expectations, and goals as required by the student’s Individual Education Plan (IEP).
